Kalbarri Picture Framers, in business for nearly a decade,
is a full time entity providing a unique and
innovative
rustic picture framing service for photographs,
original artworks, prints, craftwork and memorabilia.

What you will find is not simply a box round a picture.
Our work is about taking the essence of your own artwork
or image and enhancing it with the unique features of warm
and attractive Western Australian native timbers.
This is not just a piece of old fencing or driftwood bunged together
for effect. These frames are artworks in themselves. Each individually handcrafted to
enhance and emphasize your own or a favourite artist's concept and vision.

About Us
Kalbarri Picture Framers is located in Kalbarri, Western Australia some 600 kilometres north of Perth.
We live and work in a unique environment surrounded by Kalbarri National Park,
which offers spectacular coastal and inland photo opportunities.
Beyond the natural beauty of the landscape there is an annual whale migration and a wildflower
season not to be missed. With a mild year round climate our workshop is an indoor / outdoor combination
easily within the sound of Jakes’ famous surf break. We operate most months of the year and are on premises
most times, except when sourcing new materials. Along with native timbers we also reclaim material from historic jettys and bridges, station outbuildings and century old fencing, just to name a few.
Here in Kalbarri we work in cooperation with Finlay’s Antiques and Memorabilia,
located in the main shopping centre in town.
Gary Finlay has an amazing selection of quality memorabilia available for the collector and enthusiast. There is also a nice range of reasonably priced Australian artwork and prints in our rustic frames on display at all times.
They are easy to find, right around the corner of the Kalbarri Newsagent.
Our work is also proudly supported by Kalbarri Rainbow Jungle, Australia’s premier parrot habitat, just south of town. There you will find for sale a collection of Kalbarri’s spectacular scenic images and panoramas captured by young and enterprising photographers from around the State.
If Kalbarri is out of reach or time we accept images and artwork by mail or electronic means. Lets talk about doing something special for you.
